Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Samus Aran in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

This is one of my all-time favourite games, an epic finale to a stunning trilogy of visually-arresting first person space shooters. It’s a shame it’s confined to just the Wii and therefore has a limited audience, but at the time it was the only platform that had a motion capture system which worked so well at simulating a realistic shooting experience. Check out the reviews below and see how much well-deserved praise it got: –

Isaac encounters a necromorph in Dead Space

In light of Dead Space 2’s imminent release in the upcoming weeks I’d like to highlight the resplendance of the original gaming gem that introduced us to space’s silent limb amputator. I myself have only recently discovered this terrifying and spectacularly immersive game/laxative, and would heartily recommend adding this to your gaming collection.

Find out what the critics made of it here and decide for yourself, (taking zero punctuation’s review with a pinch of salt – it’s not as bad as he make out; honest…): –
